Question: Would it be a bad choice to pick an elder law attorney that I can never get on the phone? It seems that I am always talking to an assistant or a paralegal.

Answer: That is a good question. It has mainly to do with the importance or your question, consultation, also what fee structure you have with your attorney.

If you generalized questions, mainly you will be dealing with a paralegal or assistant, however if express a need to to talk directly with your attorney you want to make sure you can be provided that service.

Prompt, courteous and easy to reach should be key.

Remember, most elder law attorneys deal with issues that are not easily understood by the general public. That is why they utilize their staff to answer the general questions regarding:
